Yes the stage1/2 map has some CEL's disabled. Even with ATR you can flash out any that you'd like.

Forgive me I should of said AccessTuner RACE (ATR). It's the our FREE tuning software that you can use to do anything as far as tuning goes.

Here's the link to the software: http://www.cobbtuning.com/info/?id=4214
Just fill out the survey and select your car and you'll receive an email shortly

Someone from Cobb Tuning, you only have 4 posts. Nice to see someone from Cobb here and a newbie!
Do you have dyno sheets from a stage2 93 octane AP with actual numbers, like before and after?

Stage 2 for 2005 evo it says 24% more horsepower, so is that 24% whp?

The % is increased HP/TQ. So it be your hp #'s now + that % of power. But if our mapping says HP/TQ #'s then it's whp on a Mustang Dyno.

Sorry about getting the actual graphs, I talked to Christian and he says he'd have to dig them up. I'll try to bug him for them

Other tuning solutions may be better on performance, but you can't go back and forth at the track while not knowing much about ecu tuning.

plus, a heck of an obd2 scantool as well.

I've run my Dad's STi at VIR and Summit with exhaust and Cobb stage 2 map and it's seemed to be ok. But just about everyone I've talked to kind of cringes when they hear we're using the off-the-shelf map while doing HPDE.

That ATR software looks interesting, might be a nice substitute from paying for a protune.

Well it seems that the AP is well known in the STi community and they have more maps or more options to choose from, in the Evo world the AP is not that common. Why is that? Maybe lack of support, or maybe that with ecuflash you can do a lot of things that can be done with the AP. For me I was considering buying one but now I made my mind not to, for $700 I can buy other stuff and learn and produce more horsepower. If there were more map uptions and the price was lower I would have gotten the AP a long time ago. Not saying that he AP is not a good product, if fact I think is great but in the Evo community it lacks the support for us to pay $700 for it.
All this is me so take if for what is worth.

the AP + perrins ecbs + custom tune for around $800.00, for some pretty nice gains as well seemed appealing to me.

I'm considering it...

What is the max whp with IC and Exhaust Upgrades. Also is the boost level controled thru the AP or do you still need a boost controller
