Jorge... its your plugs bro. The other guys were right. I just regapped mine from .028 to .022 and no more popping in the COLD WEATHER...

now on to my other issues... lol

A little bit very late reply, but it turned out to be the plugwires for me, had Magnecor wires, put the stock ones back on and the problem was gone

the colder ambient makes the charge just a little bit colder (harder to ignite). The larger gap is harder to jump under pressure. Both combined mean ignition misfire until the boost comes back down

I have a similar problem

I have the same problem i have a Mitsubishi Evolution 6 355bhp with a 225 walbro fuel pump , a dump valve and a mushroom air filter apart from this the and a 3" straight through jap speed exhaust. The car drives fine when cold however qhen it warms up it stutters and backfires pretty bad after driving it for about 5/10 miles it goes back to normal.
