Engine rebuild and knock

Just finished breaking in my rebuilt motor and now my knock is crazy. I did bump up the compression, bored and removed the balance shafts. How much effect is the removal of the the balance shafts effecting the knock?

Forged pistons would cause fails knock because of the increased clearances.

+1 my friend had 0 knock at 30psi on a stock bottom end with the balance shafts removed. he did not change his set up other than going with forged internals. he had so much knock after the swap he had to go with an aem. now all is good for him.

ECUFlash area.... add the knock control tables.

Change knock settings, problem fixed.
