Upgrading Injectors

I just picked up a set of 1000cc injectors because they were a good price and i am planning a 2.3 stroker built. but right now i only have intake and tbe. i was wondering what i need to do if i wanted to install them and just have them perform like the stock injectors for now until i have everything else for my build. i told some1 they could have my stock injectors so i would like to put them in sooner then later...

also i was hoping there was a way that i could do it myself rather then taking it to a shop and getting a full tune for now

Do you have the cable and logging software?
If so, go into ecuflash enter the proper injector scaling and latencies.

All the info you need is in the ecuflash forum.

i did a road tune recently with mellon tuning which included rescaling injectors from stock to 780's if i remember right it involved driving down the road for 10 miles at a constant speed while logging injector latency so i dont think just logging into ecuflash and changing a few numbers is all thats needed. a proper tune is needed and if you havent done it before leave it up to the pros

it's really not that difficult but you do need to understand the data you're logging and what to change in order to reach your goal. The average newcomer is going to be a little confused most likely.

i scaled my 780's with ease following the above thread.. however, when i tried to scale 1000's, i couldnt get them dialed in to save my life, had to have someone else do it goodluck
