Exclamation help

went to get the evo tuned today and had a couple problems
mods are
2003 evo 8 40k
walbro 255
intake
full turbo back exhaust
test pipe
light weight flywheel
clutch

well got a baseline of 226 and torgue around 240 and started tuning some but had some bad poping and such like fuel cut or something so changed out the plugs for the iridium and ran better but had to regap about 5 times and now its at 27 and still having a small wave of cut from the whole run im not sure what it is i ended up making 266 but the timing is set to stock minus one degree to 7 grand and the a/f is almost perfect thru the whole run any suggestions or has anyone experienced this? thanks

If you have to run -1* at 7000 RPM's, something is seriously wrong.
How much boost are you trying to run?
Octane?
Target AFR?

How many pulls in a row did this take and how much cool down time was inbetween pulls?
Heat soaked the stock intercooler?
Can you post an image of the fuel and timing maps?

clue = "bad poping and such like fuel cut or something"

borrow plug wires from a car with not issues. if the problem goes, then your plug wires are bad. if not, then check your coil pack.
