I would not mind knowing this either, I got raped this morning posting about the GM blow through set up. So I'm going to attempt to swap to SD.

Why do you wanna go to SD? The stock MAF has been proven fine up to 700whp. How much power are you making or planing to make?

i plan on making like 650 but i know with sd you get a much better idle and partial throttle response and driving i also might go with a front facing turbo kit this summer

Wow dude it sounds just like me! beside I want to run a tial also and cant do that with the stock MAF. Im tired of getting this bologna where everyone has to voice what they think why cant you just answer a question? nothing more, nothing less.

If you dont know dont donate your time and effort to type anything out and let it pass you on by.

im in the process of setting up my car on sd aswell. so from what i understand you need a jdm map sensor or the omni 4bar sensor. also a gm iat sensor. i got my stuff from awd motorsports, they sell a kit that inclued omni 4 bar, iat and pigtail, and a bung for the iat. so i installed the map sensor and calibrated using these directions
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...evo-8-9-a.html
thats as far as i have gotten. looking for a shop right now to weld the bung on my pipe. once the iat is in i herd you have to wire it to your stock maf plug. one wire goes to the black wire, and the other goes to the blue/red wire. doesnt matter which wire goes to what.

follow this link it should help out alot. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...y-patches.html

if wrong on anything please feel free to correct me.

OP and BOOSTFTW05, most of the stuff your looking for is in the ECUFlash sub forum. The two ROM that have SD ability and work on your year evos would be 94170015 or 96530006.

And like 05 VII said, you will need a MAP sensor and an IAT sensor. Youll have to install them and mods your ROM for them to work.

take some time reading/searching around the ECUFlash forums and youll find everything you need to know.

Some great info now, I knew you would need the IAT and the Map sensor my question I guess lys within the actual tuning aspect of it. Hopefully when Im finally ready to get it done then ill call a near by shop to either help me out or let them do it just to get me started. thanks again guys, didnt mean to get defensive just wish I could get a stright answer off EVOM somtimes.

There will be some extensive tuning, Its not to hard I dont think just takes time to get right. search it on here there is a good write up that will explain what needs to be done. Its a little wordy and technical but just keep asking questions and you should get it worked out for yourself.
