aem wb cable help

So I found a cable hid under the passenger seat of my evo and traced it back to something that is tied into my aem wideband.. It looks like it would go right into my computer.. I searched and it looks like I can log my air fuels with this cable can someone explain what else I need or if that is what the cable is for

any pictures of this cable? And it connects to your wideband? Also does it have a DB-9 or RS232 connector on the end?

Sounds like the narrowband connection for the rear O2. Its probably connected there to prevent a CEL.

If I am correct you can disable it and disconnect or just leave it. Pics or a wire color would help... otherwise we can't really help you.

That is definitely for logging your AFR with evoscan. No doubt in my mind.

I use a serial to usb converter I bought at best buy. My computer doesn't have a serial input. You have to choose which com port you are connected to in evoscan. Make sure that the com port you are using is not disabled on your computer.

If it screws directly into your laptop then you don't need a serial to usb converter. Just make sure you select the right com port on evoscan.
