Anyone have this problem? It seems like evoscan doesnt recognize my 1.3 tactrix cable. Do I have to change a setting on evoscan to read this cable?

Yep I have both of those selected. Hmm anything else I need? Should both the 9 pin and the little white connector be plugged in? I seem to remember trying several different ways.
I'm actually having problems too. It worked yesterday, and then it stopped. It won't even find my cable. Also was having problems with ecuflash 1.29. On windows 7 when you open a program it has a little icon show up on the task bar. That's all it would do for me. The actual program wouldn't open. So I deleted it and reinstalled it, and that's when I got all these problems. Where can I reload the drivers for my reflashing cable? Any other thoughts as to what might be going on?
Is it a new cable? I just received a bad 1.3R from Evoscan and it wouldn't work with my laptop and Win 7.
I had a very similar problem to you after uninstalling and reinstalling the Evoscan software. First, like you, I though it was mising drivers. I had to eliminate each component, one at a time, before I got to the cable.
When you plug the cable in it should install the drivers it needs to work with Win 7 and the Evoscan software. You should not need to install drivers separately.
If possible, borrow someone elses cable, that you know works, to eliminate it as a source.
Good luck.
