having a bit of trouble. the ecu was missing a file so i was emailed a dll file to download. still cannot change the maps on it. anyone have any ideas?
when im connected to the ecu, all this is blank. offline, its all filled in with the info.

occasionally get this even though i downloaded it in various locations.

shows it as uploading a map, but it never actually makes it to the ecu.

when i try and create an ecu file, i get this.

so you have a .srz? the .xcal are just the calibrations (that's what will be in the folder shown, but it's looking for .srz, which is the "base" file that programs things you won't want to change on the fly, such as number of cylinders, firing order, etc) the .srz are kept in a folder called "programs" by default. you need one to do the "create ecu file". Otherwise you can download .xcal from the ECU, to open it and modify it you would select a .srz on your computer..

I'd give them a call if not, can probably verify a few things too and make sure the ECU is on the right firmware, etc... not sure why it's not connecting (that's what it looks like anyways)

more info that may help some out. here are the pins for adding wires to the harness. most vendors want $1 each and $10+ shipping for them. this place and a few others stock them for $0.24 eack and cheaper shipping. they are verified with calipers and against the prints and other pins i had to be 100% correct.
