2003 Lancer First Time help.
Hello, I am seriously considering a 2003 Evo. I want this car to be fast and cool looking but I am very new to cars. I can break down a computer and tell what everything does, and wish to do the same with a car, and I believe this is a good place to start.
What I want to know:
1) What are ALL the parts in the engine that I can replace with aftermarket ones for better performance. (I can look them up later to see what they do.)
2)Engine Swap/Engine Rebuild. Is it worth it if it has 90 thousand + miles?
3)whats a reputable place to get parts?
Thank you for any of your contribution. And sorry if this is in the wrong section, Im new.

To be honest bro, you can really replace anything that you want
. it really depends on what you want to get out of the car. If i had to start off with something, open up your exhaust. get an dp, tp or high flow cat, and a cat back to at least to start. You can go with an O2 housing which is helps a lot and the turbo, spools so much quicker with it. You can prob go with an intake then upgrade your intercooler piping to the short route upper and a decent lower like ams, map, muse, or ets. Then you can hit up a tune. always something to change dude
If you wanna get ur EVO up to 470 whp here is what you need. First run E85, 800cc range injectors, one walbro fuel pump, upgrade intercooler and pipping, port and polish head with mild cams( this can be done at ur local shop no need to send it to buscher). Increase turbo inlet which is the Air Intake. Increase turbo outlet which is the Exhaust system. Last you need a Tune by a Tuner that will upgrade ur psi, timing, fuel etc...you can keep ur stock ECU. 470whp is alot of fun. good luck
