evoscan help!
hi, my evoscan isnt calculating the engine load correctly...instead of goin from say a 100 to 255 or 300+ its calculating from 2000 or something...im using loadMUT2byte to calculate engine load,what could be the problem...?
and also how do i calculate load 1byte?
i have tephra running on my ecuflash but all it shows is 0...

I just got mine working - Here is what you need to do, buddy:
1) Find out your Rom ID (open EcuFlash and you will find it under Rom Info)
2) Go to the link in bottom for your MUT 00, 01 addresses
3) Open up Evoscan and make sure that it has the correct RequestID and forumla
For all details, go there https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...te-thread.html
One more thing, get familiar with your Tephra, find out the version of it and how to use it...it has some pretty cool settings other than tuning and logging.
HTH - Good Luck

If you are using Tephra V7 then you should be using Load 1byte to log with and not the Load MUT 2Byte Mod(it has been a while since I set this up, so I could be wrong). I can't find the thread but this was changed in the V7 rom/xmls over to a 1byte load. You can go into Ecuflash and adjust the load factor for your ROM and then adjust Evoscan to match.
The rom that you can use will be the 94170015 and 96530006, Im referencing this from your other thread btw. I use the Option 5 96531706 (v7 + Mods + Speed Density) with the 0x040 immobilizer and have no issues with it. To check the immobilizer code you need to load your stock rom into Ecuflash and then go to the immobilizer section and see what you were at.
I know the V7 thread was linked to in another one of your post but try re-reading over the release notes in post one to familiarize your self with what the rom need and what it is capable of. The second post towards the bottom has XML data that can be imported into evoscan to update the values or you can manually enter these in.

2byte to 1byte load factor
- simple divide routine to convert 2byte load into a 1byte field and then Evoscan will convert back to 2byte.
- MATCH you LoadFactor in ECUFLASH to the SAME as your Eval in evoscan
- MaxLoad is loadfactor * 255, ie a loadfactor of 1.2 will allow a Max Loggable Load of 306, 1.3 = 331... etc (choose an appropriate loadfactor based on your existing max load)

Preconfigured MUT Requests
MUT00+MUT01 = 2byte airflow (ie MrFreds mod in g/s or lb/min)
MUT02+MUT03 = 2byte airflow (ie MAFHz)
MUT40 = 1byte gear
MUT41 = 1byte load
MUT42+MUT43 = 2byte SPEED/RPM ratio (to get your gear ratios correct - if you need to)
2byte load AND 2byte RPM are no longer included and IMHO not needed!
