Judging from your screenshot, it would appear that the definition for your ROM is pooched. I had that happen to me a while back. I copied the EVO7base.xml definition (the one I needed) from ECUFlash into the proper EvoScan folder, and now my table axis are good again. I can load any of my old logs and follow the load cell traces.

Also I just double checked and I am running EvoScan version 2.9.0021 which is the most recent one.
Why are you running that rom? The 94170715 is the one I use for my Evo 8.

So what is the proper folder? I am a Mac user, I need things to be very simple! Lol! So I download either evo7base or my perticular ROM and save it in the proper folder overwriting what is there and it should be fixed?

I did change a few of the values In the timing table to give the load a wider range. Could that have effected anything?

Because that is the ROM for the 2005 USDM Evo 8 as opposed to yours which appears to be a Tephra V7 ROM. If anything I could swap to the 96530006, which is the EDM for an '05. I'll be honest I'm new to this while ROM/definition/XML stuff. It's a bit of a blur.

Did not mean any offense just curious. I guess that I had not seen that stock 05 map put up before. Was curious if it was some aus rom or something.

I tired the EDM "universal" 9653 but I found to like the 94170015 more, even over the stock rom 9417008 that my car came with. Then switching over to Tephra V7 from Tephra V5 was a big improvement. Love me some Big Maps.

I am sure that you have already seen it but this page was helpful to me...http://evoecu.logic.net/wiki/Downloads

You can use a 9417 ROM on an 05 EVO. It works great. I personally dont like the 9653 ROM.

If I don't swap ROM's I'd like to jsut keep the one that my car came with. I am still just a little confused waht would be messed up to show my tables like that in Map tracer. When I look at them ECUFlash they look fine.

Here it is in ECU flash: (Columns are normal)

How to track the cells being used with evoscan-screenhunter_03-aug.-01-10.41.jpg

And here it is in EvoScan Map Tracer: (Columns are jacked up)

How to track the cells being used with evoscan-screenhunter_04-aug.-01-10.43.jpg

This is the same exact ROM file on both applicaions and the one that is currently in my car. How do I made the columns line up correctly on Map Tracer? If this was your car what would you try first? (But I need step by step becuase I'm a noob at this)

It would be best to move to 9417 (or even 9653), as your original ROM is kinda "unsupported" now.

I'd trust this response. From my little knowledge the XML files are looking in the wrong place in the rom for the scaling information which is why it is all jacked up.

I will give this a try. Vortico is going to help me with it on Sunday after AutoX as he is a computer genius and I am not so much! I will post back up and let you know if it solves it or not.

I swapped to 94170015 ROM and copied all of my tables over to it and then it wouldn't start. I had the immobilizer code in there and it was cranking over, just wasn't firing up. I flashed back to my old ROM and it started right up. Any ideas?

Did you use the imobilizer that it originally had or the one you put on there?

Another thing that happened to me was the valle mode was automatically put on for some reason. You might double check that it is disabled.

Does the cel blink when you put the key to on? If so the Valle mode is on.

I used the original immobilier code that came with my car, I put it on the new ROM. This isn't the Tephra ROM so no valle mode as far as I know. I was told that if it was the wrong immobilizer code it would start up and die. This wouldn't even start up, it just cranked over and over.

You need the correct immobilizer hex. Its different from the immobilizer and corresponds to the year of the car. 9417 is originally an '03 ROM.

For an 05 car, the immobilizer hex is 0x0058.

If you need any help converting over, just let me know. Hit me up on AIM.

Ok, thanks!

I read this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...6940011-a.html, and they expirienced the same thing I did and it seems like the big thing is using 96530006. I'm reading this thread now, https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...9694011-a.html, and it's the same thing about swapping from 96940011 to 96530006. Why did you say that you don't like the 96530006 ROM?

It flashes fine. Just the car won't start afterwards.

Even tried some non V5 mod 94170014 and 94170015 with no luck.

Doh.
