IX Tuning for a ETS LICP & Intake

Hey guys, so I'm hoping for a little help. I got my IX last summer, and now that this summer is approaching I'm looking to do a few power mods. I know that this information is on here somewhere, but I'm in architecture school and, if anyone is familiar with it, I just have zero time to spend even a few hours researching (example: had a review today, slept for about an hour last night and not even two the night before), as much as I do enjoy it.

I'm looking to buy an ETS LICP and intake. Since the engine doesn't do well with an aftermarket intake, I know I would need to get a tune. Since I'm not going crazy and have limited $, I'm assuming a ecu flash is the easiest and most cost efficient way to get a tune.

Since I've got a few questions, I'm hoping someone at least give me a solid push in the right direction.

What exactly would I need to flash my ecu? What are my options and where do they fall in terms of price/quality?

I've read that MPG can actually be increased too. Is this a thing?

Thanks a ton to anyone who helps out.

Get a tactrix cable, evoscan and ecuflash. Then read the merlin guide and watch the how to videos. Be sure to get at least a wideband installed then log log log. Once you get all that figured out and you feel comfortable, slowly start to tweak your ecu. If I'm wrong on this someone more in the know will chime in.

I actually put on the Injen intake and UICP and its been running great. Havent had any issues and can feel a significant difference from that rubber POS Intake that was on there.
As for the tuning process Im clueless on just because my car is my DD and dont have the time to get into all of that at the moment. I am however getting an ECU flash tune on mine next month.
