Standalone and wideband
Standalone and wideband
I've had the aem wideband wired to the stock ecu for some time. I got a vipec and I want to ensure that the vipec doesn t see a varying wideband reading from ground offset just like the stock ecu tends to. Where is the best place to ground the aem so that the grounding is infallible.
Can i tie it into a sensor ground pin to the ecu ? I will be pinning it to the factory front o2 sensor. And also using it in that location. As I will be using quick tune and wot fuel corrections ..

Ideally, the best place to wire the wideband is the same place the stock ecu is grounded. A sensor ground would work, but if there's a ground to the chassis from the ecu, I'd use that.
