P0011 code after IM and TB install
Ok, so I recently installed a Curt Brown extreme ported intake manifold and 70mm TB. I noticed now that when I'm driving at light throttle (out of boost) I throw a CEL for P0011:
"A" Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance (Bank 1)
Here's what I found about this code:
"The P0011 DTC specifically refers to the camshaft (cam) timing. In this case, if the cam timing is above a set limit (over-advanced), the engine light will be illuminated and the code will be set. The "A" camshaft is either the intake, left, or front camshaft."
So I know it's probably a timing issue but my question is if anyone has seen this when installing a IM and TB? I never got this code on the stock parts and this same tune. I'm getting a retune next week and I'm really hoping it's just a simple tuning issue. I've also read that it could be the intake cam angle sensor, or the mivec gear oiling unit? It just seems strange that I would get this CEL immediately after the install. I'm thinking that the extra airflow is causing the mivec gear to not be able to compensate enough and simply removing some timing in the mivec table will solve it?

Still no suggestions? I logged mivec and occasionally I get a tiny spike that hits 33 degrees, but the rest of the time it works perfectly. Any thoughts here? Why would I get an occasional spike even though my Mivec map is set to not go above 28 degrees? Bat intake cam sensor?
The car actually idles fine. I only see this every couple of days while cruising between 2000 rpm and 4000rpm. What I see in my log is a super quick mivec spike to 32 degrees for a split second. All my mivec table values are below 28.8.
