When I go WOT, and hit peak boost of around 28psi around 4800rpm (not on stock turbo), I get random little stutters or hiccups until redline. I can't think of any other way to describe them. They're a very brief loss of power for a like split second. Evoscan logs absolutely no knock. I just replaced the sparkplugs with NGK 1 step colder iridium plugs, thinking that might be the issue, but to no avail. AFRs are fine, timing map is reasonable. It's not fuel cut, I've experience that before and this is not it.

Can't think of what else it could be? Considering replacing the spark plug wires and boots out of desperation.

Take off your uicp and see if your throttle body is dirty, and obviously make sure you have the corect plug gap. Last but not least do a boost leak test too.

 

Sorry, should have mentioned. Did a boost leak test, fixed a couple of tiny leaks but nothing worth mentioning

 

Which plugs did you get and what did you gap them to? I had the same problem and my gap was to high.

 

I had a similar problem and it was my coil pack.
