You know I am uncertain if it will or not. As long as the key commands are the same it will start a log just fine. After that it just depends on whether or not the log format is the same. Mick, from PDXTuning, sent me a WRX log file but I havent worked with it yet to see if it will work.
Since i have the log file I can easily set it up to run with either vehicle with no problems.

Also, when it asks for USER uncheck the "Use Anonymous" checkbox if needed..
Sorry, It wasn't directed to you PDX, just everyone having trouble..
And if your using DATA 1 for your logfiles, the WRX format is slightly different, the MAF reading is Voltage based and not Karmann FQ, there's a column in the middle with the Voltage of the Narrowband O2 sensor, and a few other minor differences..
I **JUST** got my dashboard to work with the alternate data format, but I have to tell the app which UTEC its connected to.

Version 1.0.1 has been released to the server. The update is just a minor graphical display update that is optimized for 1024x768 or 800x600. There are seperate downloads for each version of the app and they can be found in the 1.0.1 update folder under version 1.0.0 on the FTP server.
I can't seem to get the log files "dilemeted". How do you go about to do this. I mean, I get it dilemeted (I think) but no comma's appear.
I am using EXCEL basically. I log logger 1, and its in TXT, then i use EXCEL and import it then dilemeted it, and also click on "comma" but no comma appears. ???
How do you do it?

Great job with teh Utec Playback..
I can't wait for you to make it have the "BOOST" values in the graph. I finally got it to dilemante.
Also, I'm a wrx, so I basically made a excel spreadsheet that will re-arrange the values on the WRX-utec to match the values of the "EVO-utec" which basically has the AFR in the middle, but since I have a WB, the AFR is already at the end and i just delete the default AFR column. So, overall, it works great. but just takes a lil work on teh spreadsheet to get the data re-arranged. Also, the WRX MAF is in "V" whereas the EVO is in Hz.
But I can't seem to understand how to use the "Logger" itself. I mean i am right now just trying to get it to "replay" an existing log.

I know you'll be working on updating the player..
Other then plotting "boost" and I know that you have a guage that shows the timing, but will you also make it that it'll also "plot" it too?

Ive actually removed the timing gauge as it didnt seem to be something most peeps used when tuning the vehicle although I can see where it would be importent to know what the timing was for properly editing a map so you would know when to increase or retard your timing. I will set this as a plot point for the next release so it can be easily compared to other items on the graph.
Ive also scaled the RPM's down by 100 so that everything below 100 doesnt look like a flat line. This has really helped me see where the AFR is in relation to everything. I also found a bug with some USB Serial ports causing the app to get in an endless loop. I fixed the issue so people should be getting stuck in the log loop anymore. Should have another release just before this weekend then I am off to Hot Import Nights in Seattle.
Thanks for the feedback Frisco!! Oh, I am enabling WRX UTEC logging as we speak and it should be ready for this weekends release but I will need you guys with Subies to test it out and make sure it graphs data properly. The recording features will work on the latest version already as long as the keyboard commands (shift-1) are the same to log data.

Coool PDXEvo,
So theres gonna be a player/playback version for the WRXs. that would be sweet.
? for the "logger" version, I wasn't quite sure how to get it to work. Does the "logger" do play back also? (I kinda like the playback version setup since its simple and ez to use) Well, maybe its because I'm a WRX and your logger is designed for the EVO's.
Also for the player, I wasn't able to get it to print the graphs. (except for the first line).

Hey Frisco,
Sorry for the delay on the FTP server. Been really busy so I havent been able to update everything like I want too. I think my compiler messed up on the last post which caused the same version to be released again. I noticed some issues on my system with things as well. The FTP site went down due to a server crash (got too hot) but it should be back up soon. Just need to find some time to work on it.
I have received a ton of long logs from several WRX users so my next release will work with both the WRX UTEC and the EVO via a toggle switch on the front panel. Im also giving thought to creating the real time data display again optimized for 7in screens. I picked up a 7in screen this week (They are only $80 so everyone should get one =) ) for the car so I am doing some optimization of the display to look good and be useable. For even more fun and excitement you can get touch screen covers from 3M and make your $80 7in LCD screen touch capable.
Not sure when Ill get this release out. Ive got a lot of stuff going on with some other projects and getting the car tuned again soon. Ill work with the WRX guys over the next few days tho and make sure the WRX stuff is working properly!
