Both work the same for the most part. Majority of customers use fuel temp because its free.

Thanks.. the reason I ask is. Currently I am tuned on Speed density omni 4bar viva fuel temp. And on cold starts the cars wants to die AF is all over the place I have to keep it idled and warm it up ..if I don't let it warm up before I drive it .it will give me a map sensor error.. So I ended up buying spoiling up setup with the MAF connector to map sensor to iat sensor hoping .maybe it will be better for tuning and and much more smoother idle and running car

Tuning fixes the poor start and dying when cold or being able to drive the car cold. Most tuners have a hard time with speed density on stock ecu.

That cable wont fix that issue without a retune.

As Tom said, you're simply experiencing a poorly done speed density tune.

It's only a speed density tune if it's got an AIT sensor in the manifold.
Without it, it's a speed pressure tune.

P.s most of the tephra sd roms are already programmed for fuel temp

Fuel temp isn't manifold temp.

Manifold temp is manifold temp with an IAT sensor.....otherwise another fail.
