So good news is, I got the car tuned on a mustang by RRT but the bad news is, I didn’t go to obtain the data logs. I’m trying to see if my mechanic can obtain it if possible.
The turbo exceeded expectations, it made 389whp (450 dynojet) and 360tq on pump 93 and 480whp (560 dynojet) and 366tq.
Will do, currently waiting for a slot to pull my car in. I’m optimistic for next week. Here’s a pic of the engine as we finish up the build.
That's coming along nicely I'd say 👌 Looks great man. I hadn't been aware the array of Ti add ons that are available for these cars, wow! Looking forward to hearing/seeing your results at RRT!

Yeah the titanium theme grew on me. I started a connection with JD Customs to make some one off designs that I help create to fulfill the engine bay. I still have the canisters to add on, sway bar and other minor add ons to finish it up. I just like the peace of mind not worrying about rusty parts. Not sure if you saw my earlier post but unfortunately my mechanic is the one that brought the car for tuning and didn’t obtain the graph to show the results. It did impress both my mechanic and the tuner the power this FPGreen UHF could make. Next year I’m looking to go 2.0 LR with an FPBlack UHF.
93 - m 398whp (dj 450whp)
85 - m 480whp (dj 560whp)

Damn, this thread populates updates oddly for me. I replied to your engine bay picture before I ever saw the results post. I never noticed your follow up post until today! So it looks like we could be making similar power. I'd be curious to see your boost plot. Your torque is probably approaching the 420 to 430 mark on a DJ and as such, I'd imagine your boost throughout the midrange is a little higher than mine. Up top, we are probably fairly close to even after 6500. Nice results I'd say! I'm having a blast with this turbo and I know I've got another 3 to 4 psi until I'm at or just beyond it's peak efficiency which I was told was 32-33 psi.

You can take the datalog yourself. It's easy to do and only takes a couple of minutes if you have a program like Evoscan.
The flowrate for the FP green UHF is 57 lb/min. So I believe the turbo can do more but it's hard to tell with more information on your setup.
So on their website the uhf green can now be had in an MHI housing. How should this configurations spool compared to an hta71 and an MHI 18k?
I will say I'm quite happy with my UHF Green with the SS housing, however next year (early 2023) I'll likely hit up Robert, pull the turbo and install an MHI housing cut for my XR57 uhf turbine wheel and be done with it. I feel like the UHF Green with the MHI housing will be the 'sweet spot' for many people. This is just my opinion and conjecture at best.
If you're considering the 71HTA, UHF Green with an MHI housing or an 18k turbo and the cost differential between any of them (Green being most pricey) is of no matter to you, go with the UHF Green and don't look back. Although there isn't any data for an 18k to UHF Green (mhi) comparison, I feel like the difference in response and spool-up between the two will be negligible and the Green would most certainly out-power the 18k psi-to-psi, hands down. It is a 54 lb/min vs 57 lb/min turbo comparison at the end of the day. The 71HTA is a nice +1 over a stock 9 turbo that can certainly move a good amount of air and is going to be the most responsive of the bunch with a ceiling around 500 hp, but will have the greater backpressure of the three.
I'm not sure what your goals are, so consider that as well. If you're over 2 liters displacement you may also consider having them build you a Red with an MHI housing and XR57 UHF turbine wheel, which would also be rad! That would also play pretty nicely on a 2 liter engine as well. Just another hat to throw into the ring!
Hey folks, so now that both FP54 Green and UHF Green are available in MHI housings do we have any clearer understanding of how the performance and characteristics differ between the two? Spool, transient response and power comparisons would be great to hear.
Very curious on this myself!! I may or may not have an MHI 9.0 housing cut for the 57s wheel on order to swap with my SS housing on my uhf Green!

I just got in on one of the black friday deals on a UHF Red, hopefully it does some good for me in the spring time
Same wish they would of had a BB option tho. Spring time is my goal as well. Going to install my Double pumper and upgrade my HKS 272 cams to some GSC S2 or S3's along with the turbo and get it tuned on E85.
