Evo IV performance mods
Hi! I’ve got an Evo IV, basically stock but looking to upgrade it without going overboard.
What I have now:
HKS SPF Filter
Catback exhaust + de-cat pipe
Upgraded clutch
I run NGK BPR8ES
Coilovers
strut bars front and rear
Anti-roll bars front and rear.
What I’m thinking about getting;
Evo 7 ECU (So I can use EvoScan) And yes, Ralliart ROM 90550001
Walbro 255 fuel pump
560cc injectors or any other recommended + fuel rail and regulator if I can find those.
any suggestions and / or tips?

My only tips would be why go stock ECU if you have to do wiring or anything anyways? Might as well just go aftermarket there.
For injectors, I would say buy bigger. I don't know what the fuel situation is over there but with E85 here, you'd want at least 1000s and I'd probably suggest about that anyways even for pump gas. There is so little downside with larger modern injectors.
And with the 255, you probably don't need to do a fuel rail and regulator. The stock stuff should handle that pump fine I think.
All this said, I have no experience with the Evo IV platform, this is based on my experience with DSMs and evo 8/9.
