How to get to 400hp without e85?

Hello, I recently acquired an Evo VII from local auction here in Japan. Unfortunately the language barrier is still killing me, so my JDM news regarding parts, shops, etc. comes from other US service members with similar, bad haircuts. From what I can only visually see, the previous owner installed a Greddy FMIC, HKS intake, Blitz exhaust, Blitz Fatt Full Auto Turbo Timer; I was told (sheer word of mouth, unverified) the previous owner may have also swapped the Evo 7 turbo with an Evo 9 turbo and had a tune (at least according to the "Tuned By" imprint of a previously applied decal to the hood/bonnet). I would like to get to 400hp without touching E85, or buying some sort of crate engine, does anyone have any guidance on this? My thought-process behind not going with E85 is availability as I will still be here in Japan for the next few years, as well when I return to North Carolina. I tried going through older forum threats/posts, but a lot of the markets have dried up; Buschur Racing is no longer offering stage kits, neither is AMS, Wartalon or whomever the gentleman partnered with has gone dark as well. I would prefer an all-in-one kit as it simply fits the simplicity of "insert all of this, find a reputable shop to have it tuned, enjoy life" but I understand that may not be possible in today's age. I leaned with all-in-one kits from the hay-days of the 00's when the 4G63 was still in production as that might help me over trying to figure out which particular make/model of part is actually better than the other competitors such as AMS vs EMS vs BR if there is even a direct comparison of X vs Y. Looking over forums it seems that Forced Performance is doing well, with the FP Green making vague, but roundabout claims of 500hp. However, from what I read, merely tossing in a different turbo without anything else is probably the easiest way to send an engine part into orbit or find myself playing charades with a Japanese tow truck driver to come get my broke down car. Any and all guidance would be greatly appreciated, more so than simply "use the search function."

First things first, given your situation, I'd say just enjoy the car as is until you bring it home lol. Keeping it stock and reliable while living in Japan doesn't seem like the worst plan to me.

Now if you are dead set on modding it, you'll need a fuel pump, injectors, and a turbo. If there is a 9 turbo on there, those can get to about 400whp on E85, but since you don't want that, I would look at something FP Green sized. I made 400whp on 91 octane pump gas for a few years with that, a walbro 255 and FIC 1120 injectors.

So I guess that's about the list:
-turbo (FPGreen-ish in size)
-fuel pump
-injectors (at least 1120s but I would go with like 1300/1700 for room to grow)
-fuel pump
-boost control solenoid (if it doesn't have one already)

That would get you pretty close.

-turbo (FPGreen-ish in size) Curious about this, and I am speaking ignorantly so please bear with me; the FP website shows three models of FP Green yet they all seem specifically for the Evo 9 model. Where my ignorance lies is don't both the Evo 7 through 9 all share the same 4G63 engine? Would rather not have further egg on my face ordering a turbo that won't fit on my car without some dark magic involved if even possible.
-fuel pump Do you have a recommendation for a specific make/model?
-injectors (at least 1120s but I would go with like 1300/1700 for room to grow) Do you have a recommendation for a specific make/model?

Thank you for replying, I do appreciate it!

I'm also stuck in Japan with an Evo IX. Like schuhie said, I'd suggest just enjoying the car. I've been joining track days with it. Since most circuits here are relatively short (around 2 km), I don't feel the need for more power to have a great time. I also know a good shop that's very friendly and supports me in English. Feel free to DM me if you want more info.

Get a Forced Performance BB RED or Black for way more than 400WHP on Pump. That is what I did.
