Another stock turbo e85 or bigger turbo thread

Just as the title States, I'm considering my options at this point. I have a 2010 SE with the SST. Currently I'm full bolt on and enjoying it, but I'd like a little more " go juice." I've been considering going with the 18k, but it seems like e85 on the stocker will net roughly the same power and be just about as fun as an 18k on pump.

I daily my car and I don't have any plans of going with a full build until next summer sometime. I do know that I'd like to get down into the low 12's or lower this year so I can finally make a decent run at the Evo vs STI shootout.

Any suggestions?

I'm planning to get e85 with stock turbo on my MR as well. I hope it can make round 340whp/350wtq on M.D.
I think e85 is the correct route.

If you daily, don't forget you're going to have to fill up about 30% sooner on E85 than on regular. People report 15-16mpg when they're running it. Thankfully it's cheaper but it's probably going to mean a few more gas station trips each month during your commute.

That said, there's an E85 station on my route to work and I think I'm going to do bolt-ons and E85 before I do a turbo upgrade since it'll essentially be supporting mods for the big turbo anyway...

I'm going flexfuel so I can swap between them whenever I need to. There's a couple stations near me that I'll be stopping at when I want to good around on the corn!

This is the way to go now that there are allot better solutions for us then when I was running E-85. Of course I would run it full time and never switch to 91 unless an emergency. If you have the good general availability of E-85 I don't see a reason not to convert. The performance gain is excellent for the investment you make.
