Introducing The Gruppe-s Engine Shock Damper (eds) !!

Hey guys,

Gruppe-S is pleased to release of the Gruppe-S / Aerosync Engine Shock Damper. The ESD is designed to reduce engine vibration and movement for the Lancer Evolution VIII / IX. By reducing vibration an improvement in transmission feel, shift response and a reduction in driveline / motor-mount fatigue is achieved.

The Gruppe-S ESD is an improvement over the now discontinued Stillway ™ Engine dampers. The Gruppe-S shock damper employs the use of superior heat-treated shafts and high quality bushings which resist fatigue and wear. Furthermore the Gruppe-S shock dampers now employ full investment cast SS304 brackets which both eliminate cracking issues associated with welded brackets and allow a lighter overall product without compromising strength.
$99 SHIPPED!! (Please specify color)

Thanks,

Gary
Gruppe-S

Any pics installed? Just curious to see that the ege of the mounting bracket doesn't touch any rubber hoses like the other one.

Danny,

Both ends are threaded, so they are fully adjustable.

Hope that'll clear up some questions.

Perhaps a blank for the other side of the strut bar? That's a cheap solution.

Here are a few pictures of the installed engine damper
Only one side of the damper strut appears to be threaded/adjustable
Since the package arrived with no instructions I cannot confirm procedure for adjustments
The one bracket which attaches to the engine does have slots which may be for adjustments also?
Over time I will try different techniques
Hardware/brackets are nice considering price of product

Hi, nice pics

Unfortunately the slots are not adjustable as they were designed to increase weight savings of the pieces without compromising strength.

Thanks,

Gary

"The Gruppe-S shock damper employs the use of superior heat-treated springs which resists spring fatigue and wear. "

This statement is 100% false ...... this dampener has a teflon/nylon bushing with a hard rubber bushing...not no spring so please correct the discription.
