GSC Test 9 is getting some love this weekend...

went over to the local 4wd dyno today to get some base numbers on our 06 Evo9 GSR... car is bone stock... well other than a K&N Drop in Filter....

car made 270whp on a Mustang Dyno. i must say i was shocked at the number. ran the car again and made 267whp back to back.

Today we are going to install GSC's new TruTurbo Back system. the system includes an O2 housing, Downpipe, Race Pipe, and our New Exhaust System. we will have some dyno sheets up tomorrow of just the exhaust system on the car. (tenitive release of mid December)

and tomorrow we decided that we are going to install a set of our new Evo 9 cams in it. we are going to run the 280 intake, and a 272 Exhaust cam. i feel this is going to net us the most ussuable power on the stock 9 turbo and from all of our calculations we should see some awesome tq up to

Should be a fun weekend here, more than likly we are not going to get to redyno the car with the cams till monday, so monday afternoon we will post up the sheets.

Maybe the dyno just reads the same as dynojet.

I guess every dyno is a little different although 270whp is oddly high on a mustang dyno for an otherwise bone stock evo.

I'm retarded, i thought those were 272's for the IX.

I was grossly mistaken . Can't wait for these numbers..

That does seem high, but who cares if you're going to install parts and go back to the same dyno for a comparison numbers right? Good luck Greg!

way way too high. 260-270 is typical dynoject territory. just consider the numbers you get to be dynojet numbers. sound's like they've been calculated to be as such.
