To set the record straight a long time ago i stopped bringing RRM into your threads until you did. If you check out your first post, i believe, you compared your kit to theirs in both price and power. That is why it was open game after that.
Then RIPP comes in... it gets way out of hand and people are yelling and going off big time. Agian i just stick to facts.
Facts: dynoing a slipping tranny will drastically increase the rpm ramp making the torque and hp curves improved falsely.
Fact: doing a pull in 2nd gear(not 1:1) ratio and publishing that number as a true testiment to a kit is un ethical and misleading as the gear ratio's do matter. This is why it's an industry standard to dyno in a 1:1 ratio.
Fact: ZOO and yourself posted about beating guys on the streets with superior cars... you barely pulled over 130whp on your first run!! HOW can you beat an evo with 130whp... not even a VW bug pulls off such a feet at that power.
Fact: your power curve was great and well expected due to the SC nature... it re-enforces the point about not acheiving peak boost until almost readline. How can an SC car boosting only 2-3psi at 3k rpms compare to the same car boosting 8-10psi at that same level??
I've posted some ??'s and i've stated some facts... my point is not to bash or bring RRM and RIPP at war with eachother. What i want is to enhance the community at large. I look out for everyone on here that i can. There are quite a few with TSI kits that i've helped greatly. HELL even OMARBOY(who is putting down the most hp/tq bar non) has came to me for advice and help and i was there. He has a custom setup on his ride. I've helped Nitrous guys and RPW guys as well.
Hell RPW was originally a big adversary against RRM and even i battled them a bit. What resulted is some great changes made by RPW to become greatly respected on here. They provide many products that i've recommended to a lot of people to be used in conjuction with their setups. I will be buying some of their products soon as well.
Maybe people think i'm out for RRM and trying to cut the throat of anyone stepping into their business... i'm not though. I don't care really. They don't put a roof over my head or pay any of my bills. I am biased since they are my friends and i've acheived a lot with their support.
I don't attack other vendors in hopes of making RRM bigger/gods. Instead i use facts and question what they say if it doesn't add up. The vendor can either back what they are saying up, prove me wrong, or just go away! RIPP chose to go away... that really makes them untrustworthy in my eyes. If a vendor pumped a lot of products out then said there's no support and to many ??'s so they are dropping the line, that should raise a flag to everyone. This is what RIPP did. I hold a grudge for that.
You may think i'm worried about the SC kits since i don't have experience in that realm but your wrong. I have a lot of experience in SC's and have installed a couple of RIPP's kits as well as STILLEN and ALPINE kits. I've played with SC's on V-8's and V-6's. Time after time i've seen it proven that SC's are the supiorer way to go in V-6's and V-8's but their parisitic properties on the 4 cylinder make them less viable and the Turbo takes the lead every time.
RIPP has a way of going back to their V-6 kits as well as do their supporters. That is great as those kits are great and do the car justice well above a turbo i feel. Comparing a 4 cylinder to that isn't the same. Don't talk about hp/tq figures from a V-6 when your dealing with a 4cyl. The V-6 has the torque and hp to drive the SC easier than the 4cyl... V-8's and bigger drive them with ease. Can more power be had with the turbo on V-6's and V-8's of course... are they as reliable no. RIPP has a great backing and a great product... some of their attitudes and practices are questionable and i think people see that thanks to these posts and the questions i ask in a very factual manner. I don't yell i don't accuse but i do make statements that are true. If they were not you could take them down but instead you design a post to attack me on a personal level. I'm sorry but it doesn't hurt me at all. I know i help a lot of people and i know in the end the guidance and ??'s i post provide them with great insites towards their goals.
In the end i support everyone and would help anyone if i can. For that i was given a good title on here. If you feel i don't deserve it please, by all means, contest it and if it must go it must. I will still continue to be me either way.

as stated by another user before, guys lke you drive Ripp away. in the begining when ripp came out with there kits, ripp answer all the questions with great tech responses. same as the other post. ripp finally came back to the boards. what do you do again. Than Rock comes along saying that Ripp is lying. he didn't say it straight up. he mentioned about giving fact numbers.
listen, you never expereinced the lancer Ripp kit and i haven't experienced the RRM kit but thats not the pt. i respect the rrm kit and i don't question it just its price but not by the way it performs/works. thats y i don't go talkin smak about the rrm kit. untill i experiience one i'll feel free to describe the experience. but what i do kno is that the Ripp kit is great. it pulls and pulls. geats to 110 with ease. not enough road after for me to continue. i can vouch, blazen oz can vouch, fkrzo can vouch the stage 1, .L. who use to have it can vouch.. .L. felt that it pulls harder than an evo at top end. and these are the pple who have the kit who are on the board and they are all extremly happy.. that shows something. shows that Ripp provided them with a great kit. so listen, if u have something to say please expereince the kit first. let others try it out, let them dyno/take it to the track/road course see how they feel. honostly it aint all about rrm or about u, yes u helped many others. how about this....have a stage 2 RRM turbo automatic dyno his/her car at a dyno other than RRM and have a video taken and post it on the forums....and then have it run on the track....and we will run it on da track...i believe that will settle the score right??
Boe and other RRM enthusiast always asked for dyno sheets....and what did we do...we gave them to you.....so now...i am asking a "RRM TURBO STAGE 2" Car NOT BOE OR ROCk to dyno and a video will be nice...
I want to see dyno sheets similar that Nextgen posted that has the car info, temp info, location, and if it is stated DYNOJET or MUSTANG...now that is not askin a lot...u bugged us for a dyno we gave it to you...well...i askin for a dyno that does not look like it was made with microsoft word

When people look at the post they see one number... then the dispute... then rebutle... then dispute... etc. In the end he wants what everyone wants.
