I won't ask anything of another vendor, the answers are obvious but don't mislead Lancer Community. That is what tires out the smart people on this forum and make the dumb ones dumber.

This is going to be my last post on this topic. PERIOD
You can pm me if you don't like what I have to say.

I have been on the board for 3 yrs now and sat back and watched this type of thing going on. I have not however seen you (Rock) enter any threads and get involved in the MESS that usually ensues. For you to make it seem as if you are simply coming in to get some info is completely ridiculous. You run a business and this is I am sure one of it's most lucrative markets. You have a vested interest in any new competitor coming in.

Your post implied that RIPP was trying to get away with something. If you did not mean it that way then sorry. The internet is hardly a place for absolute communication and that is what sparked more fuel to the fire.

I have been into this stuff for the enjoyment of the car. Strictly the enjoyment of making my Lancer as good as I want it to be. The petty politics of this board have detracted from that.

I have focused myself on what is really important to me and trying to please the people here is pointless. You can't please everyone. Just as you all see it fair to bring up what you feel is important to the community so do I.

Good luck and continued prosperity.

Yeah that's me and i do my own thing... ROCK isn't me and in a lot of your posts you bashed him for asking simple questions.

ROCK was pissed at me and even directed that post at me(as well as others) in order to end the fued. All he wants to see is the 1:1 no tranny issue dyno results as that is what he needs to be competitive with. I see his point... we all posted so much it was easily lost. I think... not saying you have to... but you could appologise to him about that. It would be the right thing to do i feel.

Right but ROCK/RRM never stepped into it in a wrong manner yet their words were taken as such and misconstruid. Take a look back at the mix and you can easily get lost. In the midst of that confusion he tried to come in and get things back on track. I didn't let him and neither did you. However you did go off on him out of anger towards me and that's not right is it?? Can you see my point?

WADAD, you are right. I don't like these messes. I stay out mostly. I do not think RRM should be dragged into it though so I must enter when needed. I tried to get it back on track and get useful information for myself and Lancer guys. I asked the question to cut through the mess. I could not figure any other way to do it other than ask specific question. I am good and going to leave it alone. I said what neede to be said. Never intended to inflame anyone but get info straight. Seems like my entering a thread is unfairly inflamatory but all I can do is leave it. I am satisfied.

No more posts from me in here.

It's said "It takes a big man to appologise and an even bigger one to accept/return the appology." I know he came into the thread but he didn't start or end anything... I did. That is why i later stepped back and appologized. If you can't accept that then i feel you trully have learned nothing from all this. I have learned a great deal for sure.

I posted the first reply on this before I went to work... Now that I have come back... OMG!! It's a Lancer Rollercoaster! Not to mention I thought I was reading something from a Soap Opera J/K....

Anyway, I don't see where any of the vendors really did anything to defame one another. I believe that a true comparrison of dyno numbers should be on a level playing field where both cars are on the same machine and dyno'd by the same person in healthy Lancers. I have chosen no side and remain independant as I do think the RRM kit is a bit over-priced (though it has the rep to back it up), and I think SC's on a 4-cyl are not as good as a turbo (though RIPP has a great rep too). Either way you chose, you have a better car than you started with.

Let's call Import Tuners(or any import magazine) and sponsor two auto lancer, one on RRM Stage 2 and one on RIPP Stage 2! Same playing field. Then have them do a detailed analysis, wow that would certainly end all this frustration! Just a thought ok I'll shut up now...

i have an auto i'd be willing to offer to either ripp or rrm for either stage 2 kit for testing

but yeah, track numbers should settle most concerns, althought a shootout would be fun to watch
