Ive actually been thinking about doing the swap myself. But not sure though. Dont know how much of a hassle it it.

 

its a pain in da but...but we already have da tranny, clutch, flywheel, ECU....the most expensive things

 

just find a recked doner car... there are tons of them out here. You can pick up a salvaged 02-03 for about 1G out here. A little pricey but you can sell a lot of things you don't use to ofset costs.

To add... those salvaged cars i'm refering to are all smashed beyond repair from a rearend collision. The front was perfect on most.

Hey next are you going to have a mod close/delete this thread. It's a nice attack on me but is it really necessary to keep it now. Up to you though as there is some good arguments against things in it.

 

Yeah, upgrading to Stage 2 Auto in about 2 weeks when I get my Income Tax dough in. I havent even installed The Turbo yet (intercooled). My cars body work should finally be done in 3 weeks or so. I have a thread on it in the forums under show and shine. Should be on the 4th or 5th page. What stage 2 come with anyways Boe???? If I can find a wrecked Manual Lancer around my area. I would pick it up in a heartbeat. Cant seem to find anything here in NJ.

 

After spending the last half hour here at work reading this thread, I've come to the conclusion that this is all a bunch of BULL!!!
Seriously, WTF!? Enjoy your cars, post your numbers and keep it movin. This issue will never rest until BOE and Next/Zoorace go at it head to head on that track, which I doubt will happen b/c of these guys being on separate coasts. Even so, there will still be discussions if it were to ever happen.

my goal is to get the lancer built up NA now... i'm hoping to get it into the 13's all NA. It'll be killer to make that combo happen and then kill both turbo and SC cars.
