Stage 1 comes with 190, stage 2 comes with 255, at least as far as I know they do. The guys at the shop were a little concerned with the 190 fuel pump as well.

What am I looking for?

Shouldn't the Stg 1 be pretty much plug-n-play? I would have expected a little lean: 12.5 or so, but your numbers aren't supported because you managed to drive your car home.
Which is why I am uber PISSED. It would be ok if I was getting good information for my money. I can say one thing, I am never going to that shop again. They weren't very "nice".

THis isnt the best website, but it says at the bottom that

"A detonation problem would show signs, such as silver specs, black specs, or melting or breakage at the firing tip."

So i would look for anything like that.

Here is a picture of my spark plug (passenger side one). The pictures suck *** because my camera sucks at pictures up close. I'll go back out and look for silver or black specks. The plugs look fine though. Lean would make them whiter right? While rich would make them carbon covered?

EDIT: Looking at the website, there is no way I am running lean. The electrode is still fine and it's copper and has 8000 boosted miles on it.

*sigh*

Why do I feel like I just threw $120 away?

I think I'm going to buy a Zeitronix and call it a couple of months for mods. I'll stay away from autocrossing, that will save me some money, tires, and abuse on the car as well. F***

That's because you're a newbie , just kidding, and assuming looking at your post count.

I think I'll try and get some more information before I go to Boe and Rob. They may even jump in on this thread when they get around to perusing the forum. I'll call RRM tomorrow and see what Gabe or whomever is there thinks about it. Auterra and Zeitronix will have the final, and correct word.

well, not that this has anything to do what's going on, but refer to the first picture you posted, where is your cooling fan at?

LOL. Damn, someone spotted it. Vince didn't provide me with the fan. I don't run AC and keep a keen eye on my water temps via an Autometer gauge, so I'm in no danger of overheating. I'll get one eventually. My roommates Mazdaspeed Protege is in the background too.

Maybe the FMU isn't getting enough vac pressure to it. I do have about 4 lines coming off of the intake manifold (stock FPR, FMU, vac/boost gauge, and BOV). Are they adjustable at all? I think I'm just gonna say screw it and buy the Zeitronix asap and put this thing to rest.

Just purchased the Zeitronix unit with O2 bung and 2day shipping. It probably won't get here tomorrow though, so I'll have to wait till Monday to get it

Guess I could prepare for the install over the weekend.

idk if my fuel pump is bad or not. No way to tell without a fuel pressure gauge, and those are pretty pricy, although with the money I spent on the dyno I could have bought one. I mean it sounds like the fuel pump is working fine, it's loud as hell.

Well, the gauge is only $40 if I get mechanical. Could I drill the fuel rail, and JBWeld an adapter in there to mount a fuel gauge (me no have tap set)? What would the fuel pressure be at idle and under boost (fuel psi for each psi of boost)?
