Maybe, but Rock's announcement was from March...that's a good 5 months ago. Lots can change in that span of time.

When the price increased he told us right away and raised the price. Now they're going for cheaper, he's not telling us and he keeps the same price.

Can't wait to see if we're actuaclly going to see a difference in his price tag... or maybe he's like oil companies and figures people will keep on paying and paying

With regards to fitting the different model vehicles - this kit is basically the complete hardware kit. With the newer non return fuel line models, I can't honestly say how to work around that at this time not having that model mitsubishi to work with in australia at this time. All our models are still the return line system.

But the kit itself, minus the FPR will go across to your 04 car physically. Some research into the fuel system would be a different story although I beleive what can be done is to find the relay that feeds the variable voltage supply to the pump, rewire it to a constant voltage all the time and install a return line system back to the tank. That is what we do to the late model hyundai vehicles in australia with that same problem and on some models, simply install a surge tank system if the pump cannot be changed out.

well there's a difference between a "Big" T-28 and a GT28R. a BigT28 is a modified T25 from Forced Performance whereas a GT28R is still made by garrett.

Is it safe to run your mas airflow sensor that low? Its practically on the ground... What if its raining out?

btw, the so called "BIG" t28 turbo is not big by any means... No idea why they call it that a 40G is big.

i'm implying that Forced Performance still has it's share of the price hike on RRM turbos. if garrett dropped prices, RRM still has to go through forced performance to get their turbos. RPW gets a factory made turbo and doesn't have to deal with a middle man.

i'm under the assumption that the "big" part means that it's (about) big 16g performance fit into a tiny t-25 shell. much better performance compared to a non-ball bearing t-28. smaller footprint probably also.

mitsiman: would your manifold and downpipe happen to bolt to a MHI evo 3 16g(TD05H–16G6-7)?

No our manifolds don't fit up with the Mitsubishi flanges at this time although I would have no problems with doing a production run of manifolds with Mitsubishi flanges if people wanted that.

For the lancers we now do the Garret T-28 / GT-28 320hp turbo or for those wanting more boost the GT25/35 unit which is a 470hp turbo which is very very nice but only for those with forged internals wanting to run above 15 psi boost.

THe fitment of the air flow meter that low has not created any problems for any of our cars in australia but you can always lift it higher if you wanted. Our aim as always was to get cold air to it all the time with the least amount of work. What we normally do is fit the K&N Pre filter kits to the oval shaped air cleaners to reduce likliehood of water etc.

This kit weighs around 25kg by the time its all packaged but can be broken into several packages.

i dont get why you guys have to bring other things into this thread...lookslike prices are still comparable to each other...so why not just let it be an infornative thread

further more rhyzin also explains why there would be a discrepancy in price

Because other unmentioned companies never show anyone else the same courtesy. Not bashing any company here (as we never mentioned them). and hey, I didn't bring it up, i'm just agreeing whole heartedly.

I think enough has been said about other peoples pricing. at the end of the day from out point of view, if our profit margin remains the same and there is a price drop, it makes smart marketing sense to drop the price, retain the same profit margin and then make more sales.

Don't need to be an accountant to know that it makes good sense.
