yeah, thats what i'm thinking too. all the head work will be alot, but i'll save on labor if they only have to crack it open once and replace it all in one swoop

Right…except the OZ is nice and light…so it would be an interesting grudge match… I’ve driven the 230whp 11psi 5spd… it ain’t, it won me over the first few shifts…. I guess if we can get a tester up here they can post their results as well… I know forums want member feed back… Green would be the third member who pony’d up data… so there is a consistency with our claims… it would be nice to kill the 5spd ghost though!

You know...we did pistons and ported a head on a 4G64 (4cyl 2000/\ Eclipse) and picked up 4psi in the middle and 6psi up top with the same pulley set up...

yeah, i think a 'quick power fix' would be ported head and forged pistons, but then i wouldn't be too comfortable with the setup and high boost without forged rods and some beefier valve springs

so i figure hold off on that stuff, and grab all the internal junk at once and make it as bullet proof as i can, then start churning out more boost.

for those interested, as i said before, the manual lancer was making 230whp, so it would be awesome if a local guy would step up and work with ripp to confirm this number or perhaps get even more power out of it

just an update on gas consumption: i reset the trip counter when i filled up and yesterday i had to refill again. I was at 250 miles and I put 10 gallons into her (forgot to take a pic). Now that was alot of city and pedal mashing with some highway, which I think is great mileage. Before, I got around 300 to a tank

I thought you only did the SDS for the 2000+ V6 Eclipse? At least that's what it says on your web site. Was this just a special job or something?
