T3 turbo on a lancer!

Ok Im putting together my own kit, I have a turbo off of a 83 Datsun 280ZX Turbo it's a Garrett T3 with a .60 trim how much power would you think I could get out of this? Also I bought a kit for a accord with the exhaust manifold and now im bout to buy the lancer aftermarket headers to get them welded only thing I have to buy is the FMU and oil lines. Another question is the DSM 450cc injectors to big to start off with?

why would you buy a kit for an accord? Why not just get one for our car? Have fun fabricating!

it's a custom kit from a accord with a t3/t4 exhaust manifold it came with the injectors, starion FMIC, and a t3/t4 but Im not putting that on my car right now because I haven't built it yet! And the reason why I bought it because the guy need the money to pay off his tickets so he sold it to me for $250 wit the i/c, t3/t4, injectors, and Type RS BOV.

can't use the injectors without a resistor pack... you'll have to do a search on that. 450's should be okay though. I wouldn't go any bigger if you want to keep some kind of driveability though.

Shortcuts will kill you. You are already off to a bad start, buying useless parts. It's great pricing, dont get me wrong, but I feel, if yo uare going to do something, do it right the first time.

Good luck .

So I can still use the stock injectors because next week Im buying the vortech FMU and I have already bought a spare block to build it up for that t3/t4! Right now I just want to run 7 psi daily and bump up to 9 psi for track day I already got the custom exhaust pipe and running a 2.5 in to a turbo back exhaust sounds deep too! And also does that company still sell the ECU that raise the Rev mark to 7k?

someone can definitely correct me on this. "have to", the answer is no. you'll be getting less air than what your MAF sensed though so you will be running....rich? recirc will keep the air and you won't run into those issues.

i kinda wish there was a forum just for custom turbo setup questions. there's certainly a great deal of difference between posts for people with turbos and people putting them together.
