400WHP is it possible???
word... although highly improbable i suppse it can be done... BUT TO WHAT END.... 20k on a car that is worth 8k? i personally wouldnt... but if u must... i think 350 is more reasonable... i think our fastest is omars. his hp was like 300 or like 302... and he has aem ems and custom work from rpw and rrm
u mentioned the honda motor....those motors get bored out or bigger stroke to increase engine size....plus they are DOHC.....if we (lancer owners) could do a 2.2L stroker kit or even a 2.3L kit i think it would be possible for 400whp.....but with the stock 2.0L i think 300-320max W/O NAAWWWZ.

Why you'd want a 400whp FWD car is beyond me, but of course it can be done. Also why you'd try to do it on a Lancer is beyond me, but I can't tell you how to spend your money. it will cost a fortune. It's not even worth listing the mods you'd have to make, because it'd be pretty much everything under the hood, and something tells me that if you don't already know what you've got to do you're not realistically standing a chance of getting there anyway. Simply put: 400whp would cost a small fortune with this platform.
EDIT: And you will not be boring much out of the black unless you're dying to see what's going on inside your water jackets.

My post? It's neither encouraging nor discouraging per se, but I try to keep things like this within the bounds of reality. It would be easier to build a 400whp Civic (just one example), both because of lower parts costs and avaiability, than a 4g94 Lancer.
and secondly 350whp is possible... i think if you took omar's setup and did alcohol injection he could probably hit maybe 340... alky is normally for high boost applications, which is what a 350whp car would be
