Depends on what you want and fitment. I chose to keep my header and the few extra hp by fitting the turbo w/header. If you want to save yourself some time/frustrations and your willing to lose a couple hp your better off going with the stock header. You can get some hp back by just beating the cat out if you'd like.

from what i know, rrm's header is the only header that will fit with the turbo kit besides the stock one of course

RRM header does "fit" RRM kit but there are some space/piping concerns/issues that require a bit of fitment. It does work though as i did it. Just stating that time and ease is on the stock headers side. I like the header for many reasons so i kept it on the car.

FInally: What do you honestly think of the h.p difference?

Definately non-intercooled is way to go. Unless you get into serious motor work...rods/pistons/cam/crank/head/vlvs/ you're not going to need intercooler as you'll always be running lower boosts. On lower boosts you'll only get like 5 hp from the intercooler. Intercooler is a factor at higher boost levels which as i said... As for M3--For me it wasn't much hassle just took about an extra hour+, but i'm mr. mechanic... There is no real maintenance other than the usual. Of course every now and then i check things for tightness but all is always well... As for HP difference you'll lose about 5-10 hp if you keep the cats. For me i already had the header installed so adding the turbo to it seemed better than wasting 350+ bucks for something i wouldn't use again. Hope all this helps.
