i am gonna call them also and order a kit possibly in tha next weeks to come! it does have everything that the rrm starter kit has except this kit comes with piping rrm does not, and this kit comes with a turbo timer, and a boost gauge rrm does not, but it dosent come with a blow off valve rrm does, and this kit is alot more affordable and you can buy things piece by piece instead of forking up 1500 which is good.

yupsss and when i was talkin to him on the phone he was like theirs 2 different engines between a ralliart an oz model..after i heard this i was like im sure he knows whats up.

ya they do custom kits for many applications..they first started on honda and nissans...than lancer people kept on asking them so they started to build kits for our cars...i guess you can kind of compare this with rrm starter kit.

he even explained to me that our lancers have high compressions that are engines are not really built for boost...thats why at low psi we gain alot of power...compared to a evo runnin 19psi on low compressions

That's how stock-N/A cars work, sadly.

But you can modify it to lower the compression. New head gasket, low compression pistons, etc.

Well even if you don't want a kit from them, they offer a good selection of turbos for a cheap price since they are used. But they don't have any lancer manifolds listed so I guess thats all custom. Sounds good.

Here is the reply I got:

The pictures of the individual parts are on our website at www.spooledmotorsports.com. We build the kit custom once ordered.

The only parts they have are the turbo. No manifold.

all the used turbos are factory replacement. they're all pretty small except for the ct26, which is a stock supra turbo. having a rebuilt section seems to imply that their used turbos aren't rebuilt? the only large turbos they have seem to be in their new section and none of which seem to be ball bearing.

if anything, i'd recommend the mitsu 14b turbo. it's larger than a non-ball bearing T25(DSM/silvia turbo). the size is in between a T25 and a 16G. it's listed at $249 not rebuilt, $459 rebuilt. you could always get a used one for $100, a dead one for less, then get it rebuilt for $350. all depends on what you wanna do or what kind of luck you get buying a used turbo. it can be found a on a 1G eclipse(89-92).

$1500 boosting on a healthy 14b isn't bad at all. i'd jump on it if i wanted to start boosting on a budget. gvr4's have gotten into the 12's on that turbo. you can always upgrade to a EvoIII 16G later.
