yeah me too. He's done plenty of mirage kits so he knows his ****. He knew about the 04+ lancers not needing an fpr because of the returnless fuel system. Most people dont, not even the drivers. Its a good thing.

I am giddy as a little school girl.

This it bad news for rrm. Maybey some competition will help reduce their prices.

yeah!!!!!!! all this lancer madness in the past couple days, i dunno, i've been flip flopping on my build goals lately, and this got me leanin back to the turbo again.
this effin rocks though. rrm might bring down there price. might. they know they make a great kit and so do we cuz its been proven, and they have good customer service having dealt with them personally.

these news kits are great n all, but one fact always remains. you get what you pay for.
i'll always have my ifs about a "bolt on" turbo kit for 2500 bucks. especially intercooled and full fuel system upgrades minus ecu.
if you dont mind a little modding and fitting, which i dont, then by all means.
becuz bolt on or not almost 5g's for a full kit aint real to me.

^ doubt it. still gotta look at what's being compared. A2 doesn't specify which 16g he's running. it's all trivial as if some of you believe a GT25R/T25BB is enough, then a small 16g will make comparable, if not more, power per psi. even a small 16g is an awesome starting turbo and a step ahead of any kit that's running a T25-whatever(IMO). depending on that flange, upgradability may be awesome as well.

RRM [supposedly] uses a Griffin core intercooler 18x7x3. A2 uses 28.25x7.5x2.5 of unknown[so far] origin. i say if a dinky 2G SMIC can cool 10-15psi of hot T-"toosmall" boost, then anything larger is good enough, esp a front mount.

if the manifold and downpipe fit like a glove, this may be the best budget turbo kit around. i'll be keeping track.

this 16g is an awesome turbo I had it on my 2.4 mirage, worse comes to worse, I could put a log style manifold on there instead with a more universal flange. Anything is possible when you know how to weld
