from what? I just got an email back. I asked what does the turbo kit include for the lancer and about how much it costs and about the manifold.
Their response was
"We build the kits custom. A stage 1 is $1500. It includes everything you need to get it up and running with the turbo. The sMs manifold kit is $249."

I might just get the turbo manifold and a turbo. Because, I might be wrong, the manifold kit is the 2 T pipes, and 2 L pipes, then the turbo adaptor flange, that way you can weld them however you want and have the turbo placed wherever you want as well.

SMS is apparently the brand and is just the manifold. it's as drucea described: the 2 T pipes, and 2 L pipes, then the turbo adaptor flange.

you could ask if they could make a tubular manifold for our car. if they claim to have everything to start a kit, i hope that implies they have a downpipe.

well they have a cast maifold and tubular for the hondas, and they also said they make the kits custom so I'm sure they can make the tubular manifold custom for you.
Heres a pic of the manifolds they sell on ebay. This is what the kit will be I'm sure.

Sounds like a lot of custom work is needed, much like TSI kits. I hardly think this is any comparison to the RRM kit where everything is ready out of the box to be installed.

well i think they assemble the manifold before they ship it out...i guess. But he told me everything is included to get the turbo up and running. I'm sure eventually SOMEONE will get a kit and we'll see.

i found something on tearstones website. they specialize in the 4g64 motor which is the 3g eclipse. they also have a log style manifold for 350 dollars real similar to spooled motorsports. so the kit that spooled performance is pretty reasonable. heres a picture of it pieced and welded together:

i remember tearstone had 2 versions of turbo eclipse for the 4g64 motor. they had a basic kit before and i believe it was 2300. the other kit was around 3500 3800. i believe this is the basic kit. well anyways heres a complete picture of the log manifold installed with the turbo kit:

I am sure it would work fine but I hate the way that maniflod looks. It someone actually buys this and has it put in with little or no problems then I might go for it, but I wont be the first one.
