I agree.

And the stock rail is more than sufficient for your power goal.

The main question to see if this is realistic is, has anyone made this much power before on the stock NA motor?

the 4G94 only come in the lancer es, oz, and se. the 4g69 are only in the 2.4L RALLIART lancers w/ MIVEC.

it maybe just me, but 250bhp seems a little ambitous on a stage 1 kit.

Im studying to put in my evo8 turbo in my 4g94, and what i have read/been told a million times is that if you are going to turbo do not put more that 7-8 psi on a good tune until internals are forged. 250bhp is possible but it is definetly pushing the limits of the engine. A walbro 255lph and Fuel Management with bigger injectors should take care of the fuel needs. Instead of spending all that money on boring the fuel rail and etc. etc. work on the fuel pump, injectors and some sort of fuel management and put the rest of the money into forged internals..then maybe after being 4 grand or so down you should be able to put down over 20psi and around 300 hp. From what i understand, but im sure im wrong somehow.

What is considered a decently priced fuel management system and injectors? Good quality and decent price

Bare minimum you need is a 12:1 FMU such as BLOX and a 255lph fuel pump..walbro is preferred...Injectors arent completely needed right away, its an option. You could get both BLOX FMU and Walbro for around 80$ each on a decent deal.

Racerx - Already answered your PM.

You'd want to call RRM (562.906.0080). They don't mention anything about a kit for autos on the site, but I'm sure Rob will be able to explain what's what.

oops. mabey I shoulda double checked before I posted. I coulda swore they did tho... lol

any kit that offers a fmu is junk, seriously, do a search on this. The only way to safely turbo a car with a mas is with injectors, fuel pump, and any engine control that you can program yourself or a flash. Fmu's just are set at 1 fuel setting, so your going to be lean and rich all over the place= eventual boom in the engine.

BARE MINIMUM...Lots of people use a fmu successfully it just depends on the application.

Forgot to mention that you Should get a manage/tune tool such as Safc of Emanage..or just get a real good tune such as one from AMS..even still SAFC or E-manage is good.
