anyone else know how i can mount the slim fan cuz it has holes for screw but i don't know what i can use to install itthrough the radiator fins.
There are mounting solutions for slim fans that consist of zip tie looking straps that are flat on both ends to sandwich the fan to the radiator or long rods that look like nails that have clips you slide on to sandwich the fan on. Either way works. I have zip ties on one and the rods on my other slim fan.

hey senate got pics of ur engine bay/ride?

also, thanks for your help I'll go check out autozone, pepboys today.

I have an issue right now, I am wondering if anyone has idle problems when they put there car in nuetral or when they have it in park (automatic).. My idle stutters and then steadys itself. I have checked all vaccum hoses, I think it might be a throttlebody gasket. Could that cause the issue if its old and broke a little when i put in my rrm throttlebody? Could it be my egr? I have a swapped 4g93 manifold.

I got the same thing when I put my 4G93 manifold on. I just attribute to the fact that the engine is seeing much more air than before and stutters for a split second and recovers. My only thoughts were to maybe bump the fuel pressure a pound or two to see if that helps. I used all new gaskets when I did mine and I know I don't have a leak anywhere.

my car drops idle a bit when i come to a light and put the clutch in, but then the idle is fine. most lancers i've driven do the same thing.

auto zone and pepboys dont sell the fan kits, i have been around the block with those guys. u can however make ur own out of long zipties and flat washers.

A question guys.

In an effort to avoid exhaust leeks, I was wondering if anyone had the j pipe welded to the bottom of the RRM header? Thus making it all one unit, and eliminating leekage. the piping and turbo is so freaking heavy i can't really even lift it.

Wondering if anyone welded em together? Are they both steel? Should i remove the gaskets before they weld it? How much should that cost?

Thanks for help.

Well I installed the slim fan and turbo install starts tommorow. I coated my header black and heat wrapped it with the remaining stuff i had from wrapping my up down pipes. I also found a new solution for oil return line so i will post pics tommorow to give you guys details.

Dont weld the pipes. It would be a pita to install. I was able to install my whole turbo setup without removing the rad but i built it in there piece by piece. Made it a little easier except for the damn wastegate bolts that suck my a**
