So after it's running, we will get the turbo timer on and get a boost controller. Thanks for that info.
Its the green wire on pin 11 of the connecter going into the cluster.

Awesome, that helps a lot. Thanks

And Tim, the guy emailed me the piggyback instructions. But I need to call them to make sure they're right cause it's for the piggyback alone, not the turbo, so there's no vacuum line on the instructions.

OK, been messing with the oil pan for a while now, I got all the bolts off from the black oil pan, and now I just can't seem to get the pan off. The gasket is either glued or stuck on an no matter how hard I try, I can't pull the oil pan off. So, any quick tips on getting that off? After I do this, I can tap the oil pan, wire the piggyback and boost gauge, prime the oil feed line, refill all the liquids, and start it up. We're so close. Help please!

For starters, its not the black lower oil pan you tap, its the aluminum upper oil pan. If you tap the lower oil pan, the oil will not be able to drain out of the turbo quick enough and not be good. You need to remove the upper oil pan. Its held on by like 15-20 bolts. And yes, both oil pans are sealed with RTV when assembled and must have the surfaces cleaned off and have fresh RTV applied when re-installing. After removing all of the bolts, take a really flat and skinny screwdriver and use it like a chisel (or just use a chisel) to pry between the bottom of the block and the top of the upper oil pan. Use a hammer to get it in between there.

I know we tap the upper part of the pan. But you don't need to take the whole thing off. We got the black pan off just so we didn't get shavings in the pan. The car is running now. Everything is perfect except for during acceleration. Idle, cruising, and coasting is fine, but when accelerating, the car stutters as it speeds up, like a fuel problem. It still boosts 7 psi though. So we are going to switch to new spark plugs now and see if that helps. Any other ideas.

Check for boost leaks and the spark plug gap.

Just wanted to tell everyone that has helped out on this build, Thank you sooo much we couldnt of done it with out all of ya!

But, we've got good and bad news.....

Good News = We got the new plugs in and it works great. Other then it smokes alot when it has been at idle for a while and I hit the gas. (maybe because i still have about half a tank of low octane gas in it?????)

Bad News = We stoped working at it last night at about 1:30. This morning when we went back out to work on it again, my other car and Drucea's car had been broken in to. Iv got about $2100 worth of damage and stolen stuff and drucea is missing a window and radar dectector.

Adam (drucea) will be posting pics soon.....

Screw a deductable, they managed to damage and steal just the right amount on my car to where it would be cheaper than the deductable. They threw a rock a little smaller than a bowling ball through my passenger window and snatched my $80 radar detector off the dash, and cut the power to it rather than unplugging it from the cig lighter. They completely ignored my ipod in the cup holder, $300 cd player, and $400 GPS in my glove box. Pictures are coming later of everything, and video of driving and the smoke. Good stuff.
