Definately. You have a good looking lancer. How far is Lufkin from Spring? We have meets a lot in that area.

Looks pretty good. You need 2 slim fans for that setup?

Not sure. We have one on the passenger side on the front of the radiator. Everyone's been saying we'll be fine with just one. Hope so.

It actually is like a tempered glass so its made to stand up to the heat. Here is a few pics of it, but the new one will replace the whole hose.

What is the purpose of the glass tube in the coolant line to the radiator? Just for show? Or does it have a practical use?

Thanks.

Glass tube is for show. I suppose you could use it to see if there is oil in your coolant.

OK, new question. We don't have a boost controller yet. I've heard manual boost controllers don't hold consistent boost well, but I've also heard they hold low boost fine. I've then also heard that since we have an external wastegate set at 7 psi, we'd be safe because that would keep the boost fine. So, just to get it running, would a cheap manual boost controller be ok?

You don't need a boost controller. The stock wastegate spring pressure is fine. The problem the manual boost controllers have is only when you exceed a specific boost level depending on the turbo. So basically, it's dependent on your setup. I wouldn't be concerned if I was you. If you need to bump up the boost, just get yourself a Forge or Hallman boost controller.

OK cool. That's good to know. One more thing we can wait on, cause we have to wait for the turbo timer too since no one here wants to point out which wire on the back of the gauge cluster is for the speedometer, they feel it's easier to just say search. So after it's running, we will get the turbo timer on and get a boost controller. Thanks for that info.
