Now should i go for a universal boost controller off ebay or get a name brand boost controller or electronic boost controller?

turbo timer im lost not sure what to get.

and BOV im lost should I get a cheap BOV or a name brand?

money is limited also. Let me know some options and opinions please thanks alot

for the boost controller and BOV, get name brand...ebay or no name sucks and doesnt work,,,,i know first hand, tried both. The boost controller kinda worked, but as soon i bought a turbo smart MBC, it was night and day!! and the BOV just crap out after a few days...they are not reliable and leak and are the same deal...crappy performance from crappy BOV's.

You don't need a electronic boost controller either with this turbo setup...waste of money and if ur on a budget, don't count on getting one!

Also remember, you need a recirculating BOV. You can't dump it to the atmosphere...youll have issues.

And for a turbo timer, just get w/e u can afford. They are all do the same thing, and i doubt you need a super fancy one for a lancer turbo set up.

ive used Greddy, and turbo smart and Froge. They are all good. Anything name brand will probably be good. I think turbo smart though is probably the best price if your on a budget.

As for a good recirc. valve, ive only used the turbo smart Stealth series plumb back for european cars...its basically the same as the Bosch ones that RRM gives you but adjustable, made of aluminum and hold waaaaaay more boost than the stock bosch plastic ones. And they are also make a nice sound. Id say maybe go with that if you are running the RRM kit, since it should be a drop in replacement.

www.jrponline.com or just search it on google.

You can also run a greddy type RS and just recirculate it into the intake...

For a BOV, go with a quality unit, a cheapo could/will leak, have boost spikes, etc. any of which could screw up your car. I think you could use a factory Evo BOV if you want and that's certainly a cheaper option.
For a boost controller, again go for a quality unit. I can't think of any off the top of my head but do a quick scan of the evo forums and see what the fast guys (ie. Buschur, Warrtalon, etc.) are using.
You don't need a turbo timer, if you practice common sense you'll be fine.

Check the for sale section. An Evo guy is selling a red hallman MBC for $80. Greddy makes a turbo timer, and HKS. Not sure on whats best but those are what I can think of.
Heres the MBC https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=292900
