Something to keep in mind, shipping from Australia has proven itself to be a major limitation in creating a cheap and affordable product. RPW makes arguably some of the best products for the lancer but they're not even a blip on the US map anymore because shipping got in the way and made a 5000$ kit a 7000$ kit overnight.

I realize that, and I am mostly wanting him to shed some expertise on this matter.

S/C on cvt would be beastly

I also think a supercharger for us cvt users would be great also, the power and reliability you cant beat .

Doesn't matter. CVT still can't handle it.

Wait till the racing markets come out with Reinforced Bullet Proof CVT transmissions then the cvt can really handle it. I talked with a few racing transmission companies and I got good feedback.

our transmissions mainly just need a stronger belt in them. and theyd be fine, but i do think a CVT could handle 7-8psi from a supercharger. but would it be worth it over just buying a ralliart for a little more? we need a guinea pig.

I thought about getting some extra hp on my lancer too but when I started modding it I didn't really notice the difference so I stopped. I dunno but if I were you I'll save my money and just get an evo but at the same time I know it is expensive to do that. Your decision though

I wouldn't waste the money on bolt-on's or FI for the lancer unless you plan on doing engine work. There's very little aftermarket support for the lancer and the gains are unnoticeable. Go for looks and handling. Power is out of the ball park. That's why I sold mine and got a G37

RRM turbo - there you go, power, not out of the ball park no engine work needed

Unless you want to start pushing more power then you have to replace the pistons and the rods. The stock motor is designed for 120 NA HP, it's not gonna handle 250+ for long. If you're going to spend the money turboing the car, do it right the first time.

*why s/c a 4 cylinder?
*decent idea, but I don't see this happening. sorry bro!
