The turbo has been under discussion for some time, but nothing definitive at the moment.

Wow, only discussing? I guess WORKS is too involved in the racing curcuit to pay attention to product development.

Um, are you aware that you drive a Lancer? Have you noticed the Lancer aftermarket at all?

If I was Works, and I had to choose between making a turbo kit for Lancers or doing R&D on the Evo X (since Works is primarily an Evo company), I'd be all over the X like white on rice. Lancer owners buy less and spend less. The average Evo owner buys way more than we ever will.

Don't disrespect our vendors and act like a hardass. Sitting on an Internet forum demanding parts does not make you cool.

that is soo true.. what about brown rice?? are you discriminating there???? LOL or would brown rice fit with dirty rice?? HMMMMM ne ways it just would be nice if there was another alternative with the turbo from rrm.. not bashing them or anything but im sure if there was competition.. there would be some discount in price?? maybe??

It would be nice if Works came out with something, yes. But I'm not about to demand it from them.

Wait a sec...don't flame me dude, did I hurt your feelings? WORKS has virtually ignored us. Yeah, they are what you call "EVO guys". Well if that were true, why is their race car a non-evo, non-turbo? So before you go off on me man, take a look at the facts. FACT is, they are slow. Too slow for a company that acts like it wants to bring good products to us. So don't let your MOD status go to your head.

No, my feelings are fine.

Works has not virtually ignored us. They offer 6 2008-specific parts. They are working on more. God forbid they work too slow for you. But then, I don't see YOU doing any R&D or bringing out Lancer parts. Maybe that's because it's not easy, huh?

My whole point is that being rude to Works (a paying vendor on this site) is:
a) not smart
b) not going to get you parts any faster
c) getting close to breaking the rules

Yes, they are running an '08 Lancer in the SWC. But that does NOT change the fact that they are Evo guys who are only making a few Lancer parts as a side section.

My SUPERMod status hasn't gone to my head. Perhaps you need to alter your expectations of what MY job is, since you ALSO seem to think you can boss me around.

u cant judge all lancer owners.. i have a Supra thats worth about 65,000$ and could demolish any stock evo u throw out there

the only reason i got a lancer is cause i didnt wanna spend another 40k on an everyday car..i had a turbo dodge avenger before and wrecked it..now i bought this as an everyday car for work and such

but im only 19 and i dont work too often so its to drive to school too.

Can we float back towards the land of on-topic now?

PS - before anyone accuses me, I didn't touch BlueGTS's account.
