lol a stock FWD Cobalt SS is beating Evo X's track times in a lot of test magazines are doing. FWD isn't that bad, yeah its the worst out of the RWD and AWD, but it can still be fast.

 

infiltrate has a point, i too dont believe its faster than the ralliart. neither can rocks word be taking seriously. hes the same guy who said it was faster than a modded evo IX, and there was a thread in the evo forums and every person said theres now way. also this is the same guy who lied to that one guy telling him he could get 200hp from bolt ons with 2 intakes with all these false crazy dyno numbers.



i could go on and on but im sorry but RRM just has no cretibility with me and a lot of people on these forums so they are the last people to believe.

and for lancer GTS most people that bought this car didnt plan to turbo it..because most know what its capable of..some of the guys on this board just bought the car and think oh i can make this fast..civic people can why cant i? it just dosent work like that..i knew what i was getting into when i got the GTS for the most part..if i wanted performance trust me i would have gotten an Si, hence why you see a lot more on the road than you do lancers. 4500 for a turbo for a civic will give you a hell of a lot more power than you get on the lancer...

lets just be realistic you turbo guys are getting out of hand being close minded.

 

A turbo'd N/A Lancer could possibly beat a Ralliart and even a stock X. Now we are talking major internal/external/ECU/etc. modifcations with no regards to engine longevity, practicality or any anything resembling reliability.

"Beating" even a Ralliart in not exactly outperforming one. You can take 1/4 mile and 0-60 times to base this off of, but there are tons of other tests to perform to say it out performs. Before you get there you will eventually be way over the base price of a new RA, with voided warranty, and finally be out performed by a stock RA with basic and cheap bolt-ons.

 

Why? Because they have claims that you don't like? That you find hard to beleive? Where's the credit for being the ONLY company that is even attempting to do things for our car? And IMO has done a good job. You can take their claims for what they are worth to you, but RRM does make quality products that lancer owners have trusted for years. So why flame???

Basically, for anything you post, someone will have something negative to say. Hardly anyone will hold your vid to be legit. Especially those that can't stand Road Race has the only turbo kit out. Im just sayin.....

dude come on..it has nothing to do with claims that you dont like..trust me..if i could get 200hp out of my lancer with just pully,header,intake,intake,piggy,and timing.. i would love that claim..but to make that and be so far inaccurate, you dont even have to know much about cars to know thats not true

i didnt say RRM was a bad company they deserve credit for backing up lancers. i just said the credibility with the company is low. i personally dont think its right to make false claims about the products to gain sales.

I don't hate on RRM. I know they make quality products for the lancers, I've purchased RRM products before. I do appreciate the attention RRM provides for our lancers. However, I do question their claims--Thus questioning their credibility & products.

 

First, I highly doubt Rob was being serious. He was merely doing the same thing as every company does out there. Works claims that their drop-in air filter will gain you 18 hp and 13 tq!!! Are you freaking kidding me??!! That is the biggest crock of crap.

 

haha a race on public roads? well ur dumb enough to pay for the 4500 turbo i guess ur dumb enough to pay for the speeding tickets .. or even kill someone on the road ... id rather admit its posible to be faster than a ralliart than watch ur video and watch u put peoples lives at risk..
