Everything will be the same , your 2.4 will make more power with the same boost ! The pricing has not changed we're still looking to be at around $3,800 , I'm sure starting things off with a group buy of like 5 kits we can get the pricing dead-on . I'm also working on getting the first 5 customers a better price for the tunning so we can set things off

We're looking at being back on the dyno within a few days now as soon as the owner can get some time off and take the 1 drive to us

so really to get the kit up n running the cost is pretty much the same as rrm's 4200 price tag , and your kit 3800 + 400

so now it comes down to numbers , hp and tq

im not picking sides or anything like that im just comparing kit to kit

i have confidence your kit will hit the 200whp mark tho

Something like that , we would love to have the kit at 3,500 but some of the parts we use have gone up in price . We're thinking of getting maybe more stock so we can bring the price down a bit - now-a-days thats not easy to do . We already hit 203hp but we're looking at way more next time tuning

nice i think anything over 200 is good numbers , and considering how much of a pain this ecu is and the cost of things these days its hard to keep cost low

Yeah things are crazy these days , but I'm sure we'll be ok . I just think that using the stock ECU leaves the car as stock as possible and leaves the wiring untouched . I'm also thinking of making the kit a TOP MOUNT just to be more obnoxious

This has been cover times before but lets go over it again .

A piggie back is good but you need to splice wires into your wiring harness which is no huge deal but many just like to stay away from . A pretuned piggie back can never be 100% dead on because there are too many variables in elevation and temp through-out the US , and at teh end of teh day you STILL need to pay to get it fine-tuned .

Getting a flash is always best but sometimes its a LONG trip for someone to get a good tuner . Just in the last 3 day we've had about 30 pm's asking about the kit and tuning options so we decided to put together a Mail-in flash for you guys that would like that as an option .

nice job on the kit..but watch how you use the hp numbers.. make sure to use whp and hp..that caused a big stir up in the RRM threads because they were using hp trying to mean whp..so to avoid this thread blowing up..just make sure to clarify the numbers

when should we expect some track times?

come on now kid dont try to turn this around..how can yuo have any idea what your talking about when you couldnt even read halfway down the page, or were too "lazy" to read down half a page to see that they said the car was tuned. i would think if you posted here for more than a year you would learn not to click on a thread and just reply without reading anything..it makes you look ignorant

The tune will be different between the 2.0L and the 2.4L though right?

I'm pretty new to the modding scene ESP slapping a turbo on an NA car lol

Wouldn't u guys need a 2.4L to make the tune for?

^^ thats what i was thinking.

2.4 is a different story if we were to send in our ECU.

look kid - if you knew how to exactly comprehend, the post clearly stated that the initial tune was done...and final tune wasnt, i even quoted it, then you think im referencing rrm for some stupid and irrelevant reason, so am i the lazy one that cant read and comprehend? my question still stands as valid, 1 year into a turbo project and its still not fully tuned and running? why xtremeboost is working on it, the tune is still not finalized, there are no final numbers, and there are no timeslips, ,,, yay a prelim number of 203 was posted... which is extremely disappointing, cus if you knew anything, the weaker 4g94 boosted was putting down numbers in that vicinity with a standard stage 1 kit. which in stock form, the 4g94 came with 40 less crank hp (30 less with just the 2.0L)

so take some reading comprehension classes...kthxbye

here so you can reference it is what exactly i posted and what was posted before i made my first comment
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/7259520-post609.html
so you can take it to you comprehension reading class so you can ask them exactly what each referenced post means

yup...but your best bet would be to go to you closest mitsu tuner, and have them dyno tune you would be ideal for best results

this is in no way to knock on xtrememboost...

but i honestly looking for a more solid number --- with the RA at 237 base, and previous gen lancers on a weaker 2.0L 4g94 sans mivec putting down similar numbers, than just 203... 09 guys guys should definitely be expecting more than than that on a properly tuned car...

xtreme -
i guess the question no one has asked yet, is why tuning problems are you guys running into? what were the idc's at when the 203 was hit? where did the numbers peak? afr? wheres the graph?

The RA 237 base that you are talking about is to the flywheel not the wheels like this turbo kit did, 203 to the wheels. All wheel drive cars usually lose 30% to the wheels. But, I thought that he would have made more than 203whp too.

thats why i pointed it out...at minimum... the 2.0l should be putting down 200s..on the extremely safe side of tuning, even then i would be disappointed... sure its making ~80whp...but we still dont have specifics on power curve, afr, idc's to see the actual potential of the kit.
and the again other point to consider is the fact the the previous gen 2.0l's were pulling these same numbers, on a weaker motor at 5-6 psi sans mivec
