sure... if you BOOST it.... if you stick to NA then you'll LOOSE power.

yeah if you get 9:1 pistons without boost, you will loose a lot of power. I'm wondering how much we can up the boost with just pistons alone. I'm guessing around 11-13 psi since we can only go 7-8 psi with stock internals?

I wouldnt really call a gti fast, i have many friends with chipped gtis and jettas, I used to own a turbo jetta... when chipped they usually average around 200 bhp... or so, somewhere in the high 14 sec range in the quarter mile when chipped and mid to high 15's when stock... and i dont really think that is "fast" ... still very fun to drive with that power, but thats not even close to fast
my 0.02 cents

well for me its fast cause i havent driven anything faster its ot like evo fast but its still good. thats what i want to make as starters 180-200 bhp or whatever power they put to the wheels. i dont want to race or anything like that i just want more punch and to be able to pass some of the faster moving cars

Honestly if thats what you want Nankov, then I would just get a turbo, either RRM's or Xtreme's when they release it. It will give you more horsepower than what you want to achieve, but who cares? Thats a good thing in my book and it'll make passing those faster cars just a little bit easier and satisfying
