its ebay. you get what you pay for. the non-evo lancers are not a car that can just have a bolt on kit. it took me 3 years to get what i wanted for my custom one. i still say just spend the money and do it right. that entire kit cost what just my turbo did brand new direct from mitsu with warranty!

I seen a bunch of Mistu's with ebay turbo kits and as long as you install it properly and tune it to spec there shouldnt be any problem, Our motors isnt all that special. You can actually treat it like a Honda(non v-tec). I mean that kit saves you like $4000 dont know about you but that sound good to me, but to each its own.

Or you could just build it with quality parts... I mean go for it. If it works you're good to go. Don't forget you need something for tuning, fuel, and to have a manifold made...

i have done ebay turbos before and that is why i bought my 16g new. there are a lot of "knockoff" turbos on ebay, which can then harm your engine. in that kit that you posted what is it using for an exhaust manifold? and to me that turbo sits awfully low to the ground. hopefull the car doesnt bottom out!

Your right about where the turbo sits its a super dumb place for it but thats the first thing i said.... its all up to the Turbo maniford tho its not gonna position the turbo way the hell down there. I used to have a sm 16G froma GST but i got rid of it and now im kicking myself in the *** cuz i sold it for a $100, Just cuz i wanted some quick money. Theres plenty of junkyard out here so i'll stumble across some Evo Turbos.i mean beside the turbo and the manifold all the other stuff is pretty good to get for the price. I hustle out here, so i would just get the kit and if i dont like the turbo i'll just sell it and get something i like. Theres alot of Honda lovers that would love a turbo for it. So i'll get rid it of it pretty quick.

ok so i finally got a laptop SPECIFICALLY for tuning my car. its a little dell latitude L400. its not the fastest and its nice and small. all i need now is the cable soi can flash my ecu and then i can really tune the car! if all goes well i will be putting together "tuning computer packages" complet with computer and cables, ready to go.

anyone know where to find a bigger evom logo? im having my sticker sponsor (im sponsored to race radio controlled vehicles! man i love that job!) make me some decals and all he needs is the logo and he can go to town. im also looking for a few others, so if anyone knows where to get nice big and clean logos id appreciate the help.

ok so i have a question.....

i have had my turbo in since labor day and havent had a problem with heat at all. now all of a sudden (last 3 months or so) sometimes my coolent wants to climb from normal opperating temp on p where my car will idle at like 3000 rpm at a stop light. i get moving again and the temp drops, obviously moving air thru the intercooler and radiator. so i thought my problem was a thermostat. i replaced that and the coolent that i lost and it still did the same thing. the main problem is that its not constant, its very random. and basically if you dont already know i live in wisconsin, and if you dont like the weather wait 15 mins and it will change. the last 2 days have been nice and humid with heat indexes well over 100 degrees, and it has done it the last 2 days but it doesnt only happen on the hot days.

any ideas?

anyone?????????

i added some more antifreeze and ran it around, let it idle, ran it some more, let it idle, ran it back home, idled. it climbed a bit (maybe halfway on the gauge, top hose around 180 and bottom hose round 170-175) but not as much as it did last night. also installed a new radiator cap today as well.
