not so much as what its rated for as more in what i registered it at........plus if i wanted to haul more on the truck (more than the 8k its registered at) i would also have to get another special addition to my license as well because then i think i would need a class b license.

8k is the maximum the truck can weigh (with me and a full tank of gas) before i get a fine here in wi because thats what i registered it at. now i can put anything i want on a trailer and tow that without a problem...
