What do you mean? 2 brass t- fittings into the water lines at the \TB. Used clamps onto the turbo metal water pipes that came with the turbo.

It's not necessary, if you can find the lines and hook them up without too much extra work, it might be worth doing. However, the engine might die before the turbo does so it's not a big deal by any means.

well.. even at 7psi.. if the turbo is setup for watercooling there are sections that will be certainly be to hot and u still risk damaging the turbo.. longevity is key with every turbo. the better cooled the longer they will run.

if your turbo has watercooling on it.. u need to watercool it, no point in not doing something easy.. and yes even at only 7psi it needs to be watercooled..

our water hoses are very easy to access.. no excuses for not setting it up right.

*****UPDATE******

One full year with turbo on the car and no problems...
Changed the oil every 3 months and going to take it off to check and clean everything.
here is a current picture. The stripe i added to hide a smuge in the paint on the fender. The fender will be re-painted soon.

Ummm.....

Wait, so the two tubes that are under the throttle body. You connected each one to each coolant fitting on the turbo? If this is the case then you've completely isolated the turbo and throttle body from the engine's coolant system. Or am I misunderstanding what you said?
