im willin to spend time and effort gettin this to work i just dont got the money. thast y im lookin to go a different route to begin w. but i also dont want to hav problems left and right b/c i bought a POS kit. like i siad... i want a balance between quality and price. im ok with it if all i need to do is ajust a few things to get it to fit and im willing to buy more parts afterward to upgrade. i want somethin fairly cheap just to get me started and ill improve later on if i gotta.

i agree to this 100%

their are a couple how make 300hp+ but i dont think its worth it but thats just my opinion. the only reason why i boosted is because i knew it was reliable. i didnt want anything super quick for dd.

It takes a little modifying to fit the manifold, but other than that its a great kit for the price, but trust me if you have the money go with RRM. I didn't have the funds. This kit is a full kit, but kind've looks like a custom kit. It works just as well.
Whats the price of that kit? it doesnt say on the site?

200-250 is plenty in a lancer. Not many get dynoed at more than 220 hp. double the stock horse power is enough to make you happy.

Yeah i think just hitting the 200whp mark for a lancer is real good. A lot has changed everyone is going turbo or getting a car with turbo. Atleast for me over here. I don't ever see me going back to NA ever.

I'm pretty sure 8 or 9 psi would give you more than 200whp depending on your mods. I would keep your boost at 7 if you want your engine to last long with stock pistons and rods.

9 psi is enough to keep up with lightly modified evos

If you tune it properly, and get the right mods, I assume you could get more than 200whp.

Also, think about getting an LSD, even at that amount, your going to be doing the one legged race.
